OutRyders For Good
The OutRyder Club is committed to doing good work in the community and we have chosen some exceptional charitable organizations to support with donations and promotions. All of the organizations shown on this page do amazing work and we're proud to assist them in any way we can. We encourage our members (and everyone else!) to support these charities with their time and donations.
provides opportunities for underserved youth to build self-esteem and life skills through snowboarding and other board sports. Chill's core program revolves around a six-week curriculum for youth between the ages of 10-18 with weekly themes; patience, persistence, responsibility, courage, respect, and pride. On the ride up to the mountain the weekly themes are introduced through an activity, and the themes are reinforced during the on-mountain fun.
Toys for Joys
organizes a wonderful gala every holiday season to collect toys and gifts for underprivileged kids. Their simple desire is to help so many smile for the holidays. The organization is made up of a panel of fantastic professionals who donate their time and expertise so that 100% of the gifts and donations can be given to local charities for distribution at their holiday events.
Pride Center of Vermont
is New England’s most comprehensive community center dedicated to advancing community and the health and safety of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer Vermonters. The Pride Center’s programs and services strive to meet the distinct socio-economic, health, and safety needs of our LGBTQ community . Their drop-in resource center, community meeting spaces, 3,000-volume lending library, David Bohnett Cyber Center, and social events are all helping to build community and create increased access to information and resources for all their members.
Frog Meadow Potluck
is an annual event hosted by OutRyders Scott and Dave at their beautiful B&B to benefit the AIDS Project of Southern Vermont. The AIDS Project of Southern Vermont
provides prevention services as well as direct services to those whose lives are affected by HIV/AIDS. The BBQ Potluck draws over one hundred men from the region to enjoy the lovely and secluded natural environment of Frog Meadow Farm’s 63 private acres, including the beautiful gardens, hiking trails and swimming pond.
