2025-26 Membership Levels
After receiving much feedback from our members, OutRyders is simplifying our membership levels for the 2025-2026 season. All members now get identical benefits with their paid membership. Access to all events is equally available for all members. Trip lodging and other items will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis. Please register early and watch your email and social media to see when trips are available for purchasing. All trips have deadlines, after which we must return unsold lodging to resorts.
We have maintained the low membership cost for early sign-ups. Members are encouraged to join or renew their membership before November 17, 2025. Prices on all membership levels will increase at 12:01 on November 17. This price structure reflects the economic realities of the ski industry. OutRyders continually receives better pricing and accommodation options from resorts the earlier we reserve and negotiate our contracts. We hope to encourage our members to act early which allows us to bring as many members along with us on our trips.
Why Pay for Higher Levels Then? Since we launched membership levels a number of years ago, we noticed that people who would like to contribute more to OutRyders are usually returning members who do so because they believe in our mission and enjoy our programming. This year, we are asking for returning and veteran members of the club to contribute what they can by choosing the membership level that they feel is appropriate. OutRyders is a registered 501c7 organization that is run entirely by volunteers. Members of the Board of Directors purchase their own trip accommodations and do not receive financial compensation for their participation.
Additionally, we learned that offering various swag items and early access did not necessarily encourage members to give more financial support to the club. Instead, different swag offerings and early access added confusion and frustration for members purchasing trips as well as so many extra T-shirts in all of the wrong sizes. We are therefore separating swag items from membership this season. Swag can be purchased individually in your unique size, fit, and style at this link.
We have invested significantly in a redesigned website that we hope will address some of the shortcomings of the old website. We have also built an OutRyders smartphone app (for Apple iOS and Androids) that integrates with the website and allows for streamlined group communication. There are also ongoing insurance, overhead, and event costs that we must pay every year to sustain the club. Please know that your Silver or Gold membership (or additional donation) is an investment in the long term stability of OutRyders.

Gold Membership:
This membership is recommended for veteran members of OutRyders who love the club and would like to make the most impact with their membership. Follow this link for the Gold Membership.

Silver Membership:
This membership is recommended for returning members of Outryders who had a great time last year are excited for a new season on the slopes. Follow this link for the Silver Membership.

Bronze Membership:
This membership is recommended for first-time members of OutRyders or for non-skiing/riding partners. We are so excited you are here and to show you what OutRyders has to offer.
