Mission Statement
OutRyders is the Northeast’s largest LGBTQ+ ski and snowboard club. We plan and host mountain trips that give LGBTQ+ riders a space to connect, build camaraderie, and celebrate diversity—sharing in the joy of skiing and snowboarding together.
Who We Are
- Founded: 2001
- Legal Status: Not-for-profit, 501(c)(7) social club
- Structure: Entirely volunteer-run
- Membership: 250+ active members across the Northeast
- Board: 9 members guiding the organization
- Chapters: Boston and New York City, with members from Maine to Maryland
What We Do
- Host ski and snowboard trips throughout the Northeast and beyond
- Organize après-ski gatherings, socials, and off-season events
- Build community and visibility for LGBTQ+ riders in the mountain sports world
